Privatam plans to offer its services across Switzerland and will expand it staffing in the country. With a volume of 175 billion francs ($176.3 billion) in the first half of 2018, Switzerland represents the biggest market in the world for structured products. The opening of a subsidiary in the city represents a logical step, Pons told finews.com.

“New technology will increasingly influence the future of investing. Therefore Privatam has developed its own in-house applications to simplify the investment processes for clients. We’re independent, and operate in partnership with our clients and can put our vast experience to use in meeting client needs,” Pons added.

Princess Alexandra of Hanover has been removed from the British line of succession according to Point de Vue-magazine.

The 19-year-old daughter of Prince Ernst August of Hanover and Princess Caroline of Monaco recently converted to Catholicism, which disqualifies her from being in the British Royal lineage.

Princess Alexandra is the 12th in line to the Monegasque throne.

She grew up as a Lutheran – in line with her father’s side of the family – but she recently converted to the religion of her mother, who has been Catholic all her life.

Because the British monarch is also the head of the Church of England, monarchic rules prohibit a monarch from a Catholic or other non-Protestant faith.

“The commitment of Monaco City Council is a strong signal to our compatriots. Through the commitments you make, you can set an example and lead the way towards energy transition,” said Marie-Pierre Gramaglia.

As a reminder, the National Pact, set up last January, aims at the commitment of the Monegasque community to achieve the greenhouse gas (GHG) emission reduction targets.

The target is, by 2030, to achieve 50% of the 1990 of carbon emissions, and, by 2015, to be carbon neutral. HSH the Sovereign Prince, followed by His Government, were the first signatories of the National Pact, which now has more than 500 members.
