Hugo Micallef remains unbeaten since turning professional following victory over Michal Bulik in Heilbronn, Germany on Saturday night.
Seven fights, seven victories for the Monégasque boxer dubbed ‘The Fresh Prince of Monaco.’ Following his victory against Italian boxer Alessandro Fersula in April, Micallef came up against Polish boxer Bulik, who has five wins from his nine professional bouts. He was looking to bounce back from a knock-out defeat to Campbell Hatton in May but came up against a dominant Micallef.
Since turning professional, Micallef has rarely been taken out of his comfort zone by his opponent, and Saturday was no exception. The Monégasque was only troubled during the fifth round of the bout but overcame that adversity to win on points.
“7-0. Never lost a round,” boasted the super light-weight boxer on social media post-fight. Whilst the identity of his next opponent is yet to be revealed, Micallef will be brimming with confidence that he can make it eight-in-a-row.
