The Ensemble Clément Janequin and Les Sacqueboutiers offer a Mass of Battles recomposed from famous fragments of the fifteenth and sixteenth centuries, with a warlike tone. In the first part, Pierre de La Rue’s particularly dark Requiem completes the circle begun with Ockeghem’s Requiem during the opening concert. This concert was produced with the support of the Centre National de la Musique.
