TEDxMonteCarlo has strong local flavour

The second TEDxMonteCarlo, with a theme of “License to Know”, will be held on November 11 at the Grimaldi Forum Monaco, where 18 engaging speakers from around the world will converge and explore a wide range of ideas from science to business and global issues.

A few of the notable speakers just announced will include Mikhail Varshavski, a New York- based doctor focusing on family and preventive medicine, who is also a social media entrepreneur, philanthropist and a doctor with purpose.

Fiorina Berezovsky, a 10 year-old Chess Champion and a member of the Monaco team, and Kohei Ogawa, an Osaka University professor who developed a robot which moves as if it has a life of its own. As well, Emily Rolfe, 17, the youngest female competitor on the 32nd edition of the Marathon des Sables, will also present.

Additionally, Johannes Pinl, a Monaco-based entrepreneur whose passion and expertise is on innovative marine and land-based solutions for asset protection and saving lives. Teodora Elvira WI, a Medical Officer at the World Health Organisation (WHO) in Geneva, who is leading the development of global Sexually Transmitted Infection guidelines.

Tickets are on sale for €88 and a discounted fare of €55 for students, giving access to morning activities, the Talks, and networking opportunities during the coffee break.
