Nice Côte d’Azur now services a record number of regular international destinations.

The Nice Côte d’Azur airport’s summer programme marks its continuous international expansion, with acceleration in the Eastern European, Russian, Middle Eastern and North American regions.

Throughout the summer of 2019, Nice Côte d’Azur will offer 120 regular destinations (without charter), 96 of which are international.

Three geographical zones symbolize the growing influence of Nice Côte d’Azur Airport around the world:

Russia and Eastern Europe, of which a growing number of citizens come to the Riviera each year for tourism or to visit relatives.

Flights go to and from Moscow, St. Petersburg, Chisinau, Belgrade and Krakow.

The Middle East: Kuwait Airways and Qatar Airways flights.

North America: Montreal, Newark.

India and Monaco enhance cooperation on renewable energy

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday held talks with Prince Albert II, with the two exchanging views on enhancing cooperation, especially in environment and climate change and renewable energy.

Prince Albert, who is on his first official visit to India, met the Prime Minister at Hyderabad House.

They agreed that India’s rapid economic growth offers an enhanced investment opportunity for companies from Monaco in various sectors and there is also scope for business cooperation.

It was also announced that a visa waiver will be granted to Monaco diplomat passport holders for visiting India and the officials from both sides will be working to finalise this agreement.

External Affairs Ministry spokesperson Raveesh Kumar said that there was “a good exchange of views on enhancing cooperation, especially in environment and climate change and renewable energy through sharing best practices”.
